QUESTION:

“My one year old old bub has started regularly screaming horrible high pitched screeches, it has gotten so bad I feel worried every time we go grocery shopping or go for a walk. I avoid taking him out in public when I can but I can’t have someone watch him every time I need to run out! I actually have no clue how to get him to stop. Does anyone have any advice?”

This effects you, if it’s just behavioural and not symptomatic it doesn’t effect him. My kids went through a brief phase of ‘a cat being slaughtered’ type screaming. It passed quickly. It was just really embarrassing and makes you feel bad. Now they stare at babies who do it and ask me whats wrong them, lol. Don’t let it make you anxious though. Good luck. ?
