Recipe Note
Bananas are naturally sweet and rich in potassium, vitamins B6, C and B2, contain calcium and iron, and no cholesterol or sodium.
Avocados have a smooth and creamy texture that is rich in unsaturated (or good) fats. They contain lots of fibre and are rich in vitamins and minerals, such as B-vitamins, vitamin K, potassium, copper, vitamin E and vitamin C.
Yoghurt is an excellent choice for one of your baby's early foods because it contains nutrients such as calcium, protein and vitamins. The best option is plain, unsweetened yoghurt (regular or Greek) made from whole milk and containing live-cultures or probiotics which are good for your baby’s digestive system.
Top tip: To make a delicious and healthy smoothie for your baby or toddler, add more yoghurt until you reach a drinking consistency.
Suitable for babies from +6 months, and not before 4 months of age.
